Elizabeth's Favorites
This month, Elizabeth shares her favorite NYC spots + what to wear in the city.
Elizabeth Adams
"NYC doesn't have to be all black, but wearing white trousers or jeans will mark you as a tourist instantly, and you will probably not be able to keep white clean very long.
Navy is a great alternative to black in the city. Tan is always appropriate, and don't be terrified of color.
Choose colors that are deeper and maybe lower saturation to blend in a little without losing your personality. Summertime has more color on the streets in NYC than you may suspect."
My packing advice for jewelry is to choose a chunky necklace in a classic chain style and then add in one or two colorful statement pieces to layer with it, or wear alone.
Connect the Perry Necklace and Perry Bracelet together to make a long necklace, giving you three jewelry styles from just two pieces!
Don't forget to place each jewelry piece in its velvet dust bag to keep them in great condition while traveling.
My Favorite Travel Bag
Add the Willa Handbag that converts between shoulder bag and crossbody bag. It is the most convenient and user-friendly bag for traveling. The outside pocket holds your phone for easy access, and the inner zipper keeps small items stashed. The Italian pebble grain leather is so durable, I've even been caught in the rain with the Willa bag, and it looks none the worse for the wear!
NYC Favorites
"These aren't the newest or trendiest spots in New York, but I have found them to be consistently good. So much so, that it's hard for me to try something new when I know these spots don't disappoint. They feel like comfortable, old friends now. These spots are all part of my regular path each time I'm in the city."
