Spring is on the brain although it feels Fall has yet to officially begin! In New York, Spring market is in full swing and here is what I found will be strong for spring 2023 in fashion: florals, bright yellow, turquoise, season-less dressing, outdoor wear worn inside, embroidery, and all shades of green.
Several people have asked what I like to do and where I like to eat when in NYC, and if you scroll down, you will find my list of favorites.
Shop outfits Elizabeth wore while at market:
The weather was perfect most days this week during market! That “just right” temp where you wouldn’t want it to be any cooler or warmer by even one degree. Perfect weather for dining al fresco, walking in the parks, and enjoying rooftop views. I usually stay in a hotel near The High Line, and I definitely recommend a walk through that fantastic, free outdoor experience of the city. Bryant Park is another favorite of mine with two cafe’s for outdoor dining, and my favorite past time, people watching. I finally visited the new MOMA this trip and I really love it. Other favorite museums, The Frick Collection, and the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum. Bettina Benson, designer of Chloe Krystin, and I took some time to visit the Jean-Michel Basquiat King Pleasure exhibit in Chelsea and it was so well done!
We bought the tickets for The Edge, and it was a great view of the city. We went at night. Billy Joel performs at Madison Square Garden almost once a month, and I highly recommend it!
Favorite restaurants right now: The Odeon, Cafe Cluny, Pastis, Balthazar (forever and always), Le Mercerie, Tia Pol for Spanish tapas and Fonda in Chelsea for Mexican.
