Have you found yourself longing to wear colorful jewelry without straying too far from your classic look?
We have walked through a few solutions to help you figure out how to incorporate a funky piece into a classic style!
Mix classic chains with funky beads!
Elevate a beaded necklace or bracelet by mixing it with a classic chain. Create a fresh take on a classic by mixing these two seemingly opposite styles. It’s like having a surprise party on your wrist!
Combine a classic statement piece such as our Edinburgh Key Necklace with a more casual piece such as our Vintage Green Bead Necklace. Sometimes a piece feels too dressy for a more laidback look, so by pairing a casual piece to the mix, it makes both pieces more wearable!
Take a classic concept: a charm necklace.
Then transform it!
Add an eclectic assortment of our charms to any of our chains to play off of the classic charm necklace look. Push it even further by adding the charms to one of our beaded pieces! Pictured above is a natural theme with the brown beads, carved bone, and blossom charm. Make it your own by adding other charms to the mix!
When mixing multiple colorful necklaces or bracelets, pick colors that have the same hue. This allows you to pair most colors together without them clashing. Another helpful hint for pairing colored necklaces is following the color wheel and locating what colors work well together! For example, blues and reds are a classic color combination that gives a fun contrast without being too loud.
To assist in creating a cohesive look with a colorful necklace combination, add a metal necklace that has similar stones or design work in it. The added gold chain in the picture above helps tie the two necklaces together. The red beaded piece is tied in through its gold beads and the turquoise is tied in through the pearls!
