Ali started her painting as a hobby when her children were young, but as they have all left the nest, she is treating it as a career. Painting scenes that are close to her heart, Ali focuses mostly on coastal and southern landscapes as well as scenes from her travels. Her abstract landscape paintings transport you to the place through her clever use of colors and seemingly familiar scenes.
