Our Internships
Our internships are available to college students working on degrees in apparel merchandising, apparel design, textile, and business. We strive for interns to learn about apparel and jewelry merchandising, marketing, sales and buying with hands-on retail experience.
Meet Hannah, our Birmingham Intern!
Q: For the readers, where do you attend college and what is your major?
A: I am a student at Auburn University and my degree is in Apparel Merchandising, Design, and Production with an International minor in Human Sciences.
Q: Where did you grow up?
A: I am from The Woodlands, Texas, and have lived there my whole life before leaving for college.
Q: Have you ever been to Birmingham before? How have you liked living here so far?
A: My friends from Auburn and I have driven up to go to Trader Joe's. Birmingham reminds me a lot of where I am from and I love how close I am to everything.
Q: What has been your most fun job in the past?
A: I worked at Wrapsody of Auburn my junior year and met some of my closest friends from that experience.
Q: Is there any specific project you have liked so far while working at ExVoto?
A: I love shipping out online orders!
Q: Each intern is gifted a piece of ExVoto jewelry. Which item did you choose and why?
A: I decided on the Sercie because I loved the look and knew it would be pretty to layer or wear on its own.
Q: What are your favorite ExVoto jewelry pieces from the new Fall collection?
A: Esther in Candy and Eleanor!
Q: What are your favorite apparel pieces from ExVoto for this season?
A: Anything from Mille!
Q: What are your goals/aspirations after college?
A: I want to move to a new city and I hope to work in styling or bridal.
Q: What is your favorite part about your internship with ExVoto?
A: Interacting with the team and clients. Also, taking everything I have learned in class and seeing it used the day to day.

Q: For the readers, where do you attend college and what is your major?
A: I attend Georgia Southern University, and my major is fashion merchandising.
Q: Where did you grow up?
A: I grew up in Glennville, GA.
Q: Have you ever been to Rosemary Beach before? How have you liked living here so far?
A:I have been to Rosemary Beach one time before, and I love it so much!
Q: What has been your most fun job in the past?
A: I was an event coordinator at The King & Prince Beach & Golf Resort last summer.
Q: Is there any specific project you have liked so far while working at ExVoto?
A: I enjoyed helping re merchandising the store!

A: I chose the 8” Classic Polished Bracelet, because I thought it was a beautiful, classic piece I could wear forever.

A: I love the Ingrid Necklace.
Q: What are your favorite apparel pieces from ExVoto for this season?
A: I love the Emily Phillips dresses.
Q: What are your goals/aspirations after college?
A: I plan to open an online clothing store and/or start my own brand.
Q: What is your favorite part about your internship with ExVoto?
A: My favorite part of my internship would definitely be the people and the experience that I am gaining!
