Dallas Market

My sales coordinator, Anna, and I took off for Dallas at the end of March for the Dallas Apparel and Accessories Market.  We shipped 12 boxes full of display pieces for the 5’x10′ corner booth space.

Being newbies to the market scene, we were up bright and early arriving ready to go right at 8AM on the day of set-up.  We took a look around and realized that maybe everyone else knew something we didn’t.  It turns out we were glad to have the extra time to try and figure out how to put together the tables I had made for the space.  Who knew a ratchet wrench could be so complicated??  I really should have paid closer attention when my husband was explaining how to assemble those tables.

The week-long experience had it’s ups and downs (like the TSA pat-down right after the handle to my big leather tote broke) but in the end we left with some great new retailers and fabulous new friends!

Now that I am home I am missing our new friends and that guacamole the Texans are so talented at making!
